Tucked behind the trunk of a tree, this blue tit thought it had found the perfect cover. A small shift in position revealed the little bird perched quietly on a branch, pausing between bursts of song while it watched the woodland around it.
The soft tones of the forest make the bird’s bright yellow and blue feathers stand out beautifully. Even in a quiet corner of the trees, this tiny character adds a vibrant pop of colour to the scene.
