Viewed from the cliffs on the walk down, Polly Joke reveals one of the quieter and more beautiful coves along the north Cornish coast. The sweeping beach, framed by rugged headlands and rolling waves, makes it a place that always feels a little wild and untouched.
It is also known for the seasonal poppy fields nearby, when the landscape bursts into colour for a few short weeks each year. Whether visiting for the views, the walk, or simply the sound of the sea, it remains one of Cornwall’s hidden coastal gems.
